When
CS Yachts set out to build the best Motor Yacht in the industry
we didn't start from scratch. We drew on four decades of Yacht construction
experience during which we built over 3600 yachts worldwide. Our
new CS 42 Power Cat is built with the same quality, performance
standard and attention to detail.
The CS 42 is designed, engineered and built from the keel up as
a Power Cat. Unlike some power cats built on a converted sailboat
hull the CS 42 doesn't compromise on power, comfort or convenience.
Designed
in association with renowned power cat designer Roger Hill, the
CS 42 has room to provide all the amenities that today's discerning
buyers demand while its 6' 7” head room conveys a feeling of
spaciousness that boaters appreciate. Roger

The
CS 42's catamaran hull form provides an expansive interior, which
lends itself to a dynamic and creative layout. The hull is lighter,
has less wetted surface and is more fuel efficient providing greater
range and ultimately lower operating costs. She will accelerate
fast and cruise very economically. The catamaran hull has high transverse
stability, it also helps to smooth the ride of the boat in light
to medium wave chop, giving the CS 42 a precise, dry and confident
feel. The new CS 42 is built with state of the art composite technologies.
Vinylester resins, Multiaxial glass fibers, Kevlar and Core-cell
foam coring to improve strength and acoustical insulation.
